Mega Centre Porirua

Mega Centre Porirua

US$0.00

Semple Street, Porirua, 5022.

The subject complex is colloquially known as The Porirua MegaCentre. The overall development is bound by Titahi Bay Road and Wi Neera Drive to the west and east respectively, whilst the Polytechnic abuts the northern boundary. Immediately to the south is the Porirua Public Library, Museum of Arts and Culture and the recreation and aquatic centres with a Pak N Save supermarket located a short distance along Parumoana Street.

Porirua is located approximately 20 kilometres north of Wellington City and the property has easy access to the Porirua Motorway/State Highway One. It is largely a feeder city for Wellington. The city is serviced by a bulk retail centre and a well established indoor shopping centre and is fast becoming a retail shopping destination.

The Porirua MegaCentre has been developed in various stages since 1999. In total it covers a site of over 10 hectares but is in multiple ownership with the majority of the land is in retail use. An additional feature of the development has been the improvement to the former roading patterns providing site links and roundabout traffic controls which have assisted traffic flow.

Since the development of the MegaCentre, surrounding properties on Parumoana and Norrie Streets have progressively changed to more bulky goods type retail uses from light industrial and workshop uses.

Currently this space is occupied, however if you are interested in something similar please contact Thompson Property Group.
